  • Are the arguments easy to follow?

  • Does the article provide an in depth analysis of the issue at hand, fairly presenting evidence for both supporting and refutation of the original premise of the article?
  • Are counter arguments or alternative interpretations fairly considered?
  • Are normative claims clearly distinguished from empirical findings?
  • Are implications for law, policy, regulation, or clinical practice clearly and
    responsibly articulated?
  • Are the conclusions well-supported by the evidence presented?
