Complaints about ethical misconduct in the process of animal or human subject research, or affecting data integrity, data analysis, or data interpretation will be evaluated by the Editorial Board of ILM JAHM. 

Complaints must contain sufficient detail as to allow for verification or refutation.

Authors of the manuscript will be contacted with the exact details of the complaint and given an opportunity to respond and refute the complaint.

At the discretion of Issues in Law and Medicine Editors, verification of ethical misconduct may result in withdrawal of the manuscript, or retraction of published papers.
